U.S. consumer confidence improved in November to the best levels in four months. The index climbed to 54.1 from 49.9, beating the 53.0 consensus estimate.
The sub-indexes improved as well with the ‘expectations’ component climbed to 74.2 from 67.5 while the ‘present situation’ climbed to 24.0 from 23.5.
